Sunday 19th February, The Classic & Rod Club’s 11th Show n’ Shine @ the Lunar Drive In – Dandenong,115 Sth Gippsland Hwy, Dandenong
(Mel Ref 95 H2) Gates open 4.00pm, Entry: $25.00 per car load – $10.00 bike
Note: This price applies until 7.15pm only, then reverts to normal entry price. This event is HUGE. Stalls holders, show bags, raffles, trophies & giveaways. Then, top off the evening by relaxing in or outside your car & watching a movie or two on one of the 4 huge screens.
This is all included in your entry fee. Food and Drink are available at the Kiosk. A great family outing!
Friday 31st March is the last Friday of the month BBQ at the Club House, come along for a fun filled evening with other like minded members, starting at 6pm
Rosebud Rock’n’ Rods Festival – Eastbourne Primary School – Allambi Ave, Rosebud – Entry is $10 per person, under 12 is free & Display Car Driver is free. We will leave BP Skye at 9am – All profit to Rosebud Hospital
The Good Friday appeal is on again & has been going for many years raising much needed funds for the Royal Children’s Hospital, this is a fantastic event for the whole family to enjoy. Gates open at 10.00am till 10.00pm. $10.00 per Driver & $15.00 per passenger, under are 16 free. This price gets you in to the whole day including all the bands playing at the rock n roll dance which is an all day event & the Show n Shine. This is a great family day out, plenty of things to keep the kids amused as well as the big kids. We will meet there from 10am.
Poker Run – for those that have been on any of our Poker Runs in the past you know you will have a blast – so stay tuned for more info as time gets closer. We will all meet and leave from “BP” Skye at approximately 8.30am and finish SOMEWHERE
Last Friday of the Month BBQ at the Club House. As usual $5. per head for all the food you can eat, great time to chill out, relax with other club members, catch up with old friends & make new ones.
Friday 12th May is our pre Mother’s Day BBQ at the club house from 6.30pm, come on along for a fun night out – great company – good food – great Mother’s Day Raffle Prizes – please remember to reply to the text for numbers if you are able to attend. Saturday 27th May is our Annual Classic & Rod Club Rock n’ Roll Dance, get your dancing shoes on and dance the night away to Itchy Fingers, great relaxing night & a great way to catch up with old friends & or make new friends – so if you are wanting to come along you will need to book & pay for your seats pretty quickly as this event always sells out.
Saturday 17th June is our ever popular Twilight International Food Day at the Club House from 4pm. For those that have come along to one of these , what can I say but WOW! All members are asked to bring along a dish from their cultural back ground, either savoury or sweet, we then lay them all out for everybody to enjoy each others food, it’s a great ice breaker to meet other fellow members, make new friends & catch up with old friends.
