We will cruise down to King’s creek Hotel,Hastings for a great meal and a get together. The club will be paying up to $30 a head for each paid up member.There is a games room for the kids, where they can play while parents have a bit of a break so don’t miss this one!
We will leave BP Skye no later than 11.30 am to be in Hastings by Midday and there will be a sectioned area of the car park for your Classics. Raffles will be held during this event so come along for a great afternoon!
The package includes a two course meal (Roast beef, vegies and dessert) and a tour which includes feeding the baby animals,sheep shearing demo, and watching working dogs, whip cracking and lots of other True Blue Aussie activities – all for $30 a head

Sunday 8th September leaving BP Skye at 8.30 am– Run to Werribee Zoo
Off to the Zoo we go, Yes – we are off to the Zoo, What a great time to head to the Werribee Zoo, just before the school holidays madness sets in & Spring is in the air. We will be leaving BP Skye at approx 8.30am, come on out for a leisurely drive up the M1 over the Westgate bridge, we will get off at the Werribee exit, “Entry for children 16 & under is FREE, Adults pricing will be determined by the number of replies, if we get more than 50 Adults the cost is $21.40 each, if we get less it will be $26.80 each – *BONUS* the Club will pay ½ of the adult entrance fee – so we will need numbers when asked for by text. The Zoo have arranged for a special tour only for the Classic & Rod Club which is at 11.30am, they have a new bus which holds 130 people. So come on out for a fantastic family day at Werribee Zoo.
Sunday 10th November – Run to the Dandenong Show
We are off to the Show – we have been fortunate enough to be invited again by the Dandenong Show to put our Classic Cars on display for all to admire and reminisce back to yesteryear. So come on – lets show them how we can put on one hell of a show.
We will be leaving BP Skye at 8.00am SHARP!
You will be given a free show ticket at BP to enter at no charge.
If you wish to meet us there you must wait in Sinclair Ave which is the back entrance to the show, once we arrive I will hand out the free entry ticket to you

Management from the Cranbourne Homemaker Centre are holding a massive event on the 17th November, They have asked The Classic & Rod Club to put on a Show n Shine as part of the festivities, as time gets closer I will send more details by text about this day.
A new venture which has been in the planning for the past 5 years is about to take off. The Cranbourne Race Course is going to start having a market every Saturday as of the 23rd November; The Classic & Rod Club has been invited on its the 1st day to put on a Show n Shine for this event. Entry is free, cars will need to be in place as of 7.30am so as to we do not interrupt or get interrupted by the Market people, this is where the swap meets used to be held, enter through Grant Street, Cranbourne – lets show a new venture support to get this off the ground
TGS Muscle Cars is one of our newest sponsors, Tony & his crew are putting on a BBQ & opening up their shop for the Classic & Rod Club, not only does he import and sell American Cars but also has a very large stock holding of American Memorabilia, Pin Ball Machines, Coca Cola products, old school bikes, Neon Signs etc. We will meet there at approx. 10.00am – the address is 95 Cochranes Road Moorabbin. So lets show them some appreciation for sponsoring the Classic & Rod Club.
To All Classic & Rod Club Members, this one is for the “KIDS” Make a Wish Foundation – a fantastic organisation have asked for the Classic & Rod Club to put on a show n shine for this magnificent event.There will be BBQ’s, food and drink. Raffles, luck dips, face painting, jumping castle and magic show.

Sunday 15th December – Christmas Party
Well Christmas is almost upon us, As we have done in the past – the Classic & Rod Club Christmas Party will be held at the Cranbourne Soccer Club (where we have our cruise nites) from 11.00am onwards. We have already sent out a Christmas form & now are sending out the final reminder form – the cut off for this is the 18th November as we need to make sure catering is all done & Santa is made aware off all 11 & under children’s names. Yes – Santa will be there, plenty to jump in or on, a ride or 2 & a sugar fix to boot – So please get your forms in sooner rather than later so we can get this party started. There will be plenty for the kids to do as well as the adults, plenty of food & deserts – hope to see you there – Sam
The perfect start to the year – Food stalls, Music, raffles all right by the beach. Bring your own Picnic or go to one of the many Restaurants and Hotels nearby! This is always huge so don’t be late as we want to get away promptly from BP Ske at 8.30 am
